Smith Jenkins were appointed as planning consultant for a new primary school to serve the Kingsbrook housing development in Aylesbury. This follows our previous success in securing planning permissions for the first primary school and secondary school on the Kingsbrook development.

The development will include a new 3FE (630 place) primary school, 60 place nursery and 12 place Special Educational Needs (SEN) Unit and associated works.

The project included pre-application discussions with the local planning authority, community engagement and a full planning application submission. Planning permission was granted in April 2025.
