Smith Jenkins worked on this exciting new town centre project to change the use and extend vacant floor space within Chisholm House to a Sixth Form A Level Centre.

The proposal sought to achieve a minimum standard of net carbon zero by using the latest in green technologies and deliver a modern fit for purpose building in the heart of the town centre.

Smith Jenkins worked closely with the local authority and the town centre management to ensure that the proposal had minimal impact on the surrounding area and businesses during the application process. A full planning application was approved in February 2023.
