James Lovell
Planning Assistant
James joined Smith Jenkins following his graduation from Newcastle University, where he obtained a BA degree in Geography and Planning.
Since joining, James has supported colleagues on a variety of projects that involve policy research, planning appraisals, statements, and appeals whilst actively collaborating with the various stakeholders involved. Alongside work, he is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Spatial Planning at Oxford Brookes with the goal of becoming a chartered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).
Outside of his professional and academic pursuits, James has a strong interest in fitness and sports. He holds a powerboat membership at Stewartby Lake and particularly enjoys playing football as a member of a local team.
